Back at the magical age of 16, I predicted that upon reaching 24 a blossoming career would have evolved along with a happy little family and my life would be perfect. The 16 year old me was always right no matter what. Just not this time.

I finally hit the all so grown up age last October, with none of the above present in my life, and with an even harder realisation that next year I will be 25 and shockingly not having done half the things I planned to or in fact should have done as a younger girl. So I have created a list to be completed within one year, starting on my birthday and ending on my birthday…

THE LIST

  • Tongue piercing
  • Back packing around Europe (Or just travelling)
  • Visit the pyramids
  • New York baby!
  • Get an appearance on TV (Dinner Date)
  • Disneyland
  • Work in McDonalds
  • Date someone who is: A Fireman, Plumber, Toff etc etc
  • Stay in a top notch hotel for the night
  • Learn to play an instrument
  • Race for life/Something for charity
  • Visit Scunthorpe
  • Speed dating
  • Learn a unique party trick
  • Go to an airport and just get on a plane
  • Milk a cow
  • Rent a car of my choice for the weekend
  • Spend a night in a haunted house
  • Make an outrageous clip and post it to You Tube
  • Walk up to a gorgeous guy and hand him my number

This year I have no limits and any given opportunity, I’m going to take it. As I once heard:

“You can’t buy back youth”
